Hello everybody

The door sensor on my 2005 RL doesn't seem to be working anymore. When I touch the driver's side door handle nothing happens. The door does unlock when I push the button on the fob. I replaced the batter around a month ago and everything was working fine until today.

I'm willing to bet your door handle is probably bad, pretty well documented issue here
