Buying a TL: How did I do?

About to buy a 04 TL with Navi for $33k, $599/mo with $3000 down. Is that a good deal?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

It is impossible to judge your deal without any details, such as the residual, money factor, etc.

But, it appears to be a lot higher than what I would pay.

I'm buying the car, not leasing it. I'm putting $3000 down, and paying $599/mo for 60 months. Sorry if I was not too clear in my original post.

Appreciate your response though. Thanks!

Sounds like a good deal assuming your interest rate will be below 4%. I think $33000 for TL with Nav (I assume) is a good deal.

Good luck!

Fair price for the car with NAV - I'd double check the financing, though.

You didn't say what the total amount financed is. In TN the sales tax on $33K would be about $2,500.00, making the total price $35,500, with $3,000.00 down, the amount financed would be $32,500. Using this amount for 60 months and a payment of $599/mo, interest calculates to be 4%.

A couple of days ago, Turnersville told me that they were sold out of TLs with Nav for the rest of March.

Sussman in Willow Grove, PA still had several with Nav, and were interested in making deals...

PM me if you have any questions....

The price for the 04 TL with Navi is $33000, add 6% tax plus $320 for Title and Registration, for a total of $35300. I put $300 down, so amount financed is $32300. Comes out with a monthly payment of $599 for 60 months. This any good?

I think you are paying a 4.28% interest rate. You could probably have done better on negotiating or finding a better interest rate.

For you finance geeks, I used n=60, pv = 32,300, pmt = -599 and solved for i.
