butt prints
Any (good) news for Team Buttprints? My driver seat is getting worse by the day. I've been holding of on anther visit to the dealer pending a TSB or a true fix from Acura. I have better luck with service departments when I tell them what needs to be done rather than the other way around. Thanks.

Long wait...
I seriously doubt there will ever be a TSB on this, because it I doubt it's actually a "problem" by the standard definition.
I think Acura will address this on case by case basis and that will be it.
Considering the horror stories some have had with the whole process of getting the seats recovered, unless the leather actually becomes worn abnormally I don't intend on having anything done. I can live with the stretched leather just fine.

Not a Blowhole
Stop the Insanity!
Go look at a Pontiac GTO (about $34k). It has a large, flat piece of leather in the seat area just like the TL, with no perforations. It develops the same sagging, and the bolsters develop the same creases. It is in Car and Driver this month, and the odometer says 920 miles. It is also one of the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in.
Let's move on, please?
Now I was re-reading my Shakespeare the other day....Much Ado about Nothing.
The whole seat butt hysteria would have made a great Seinfeld episode - but I thought those 4 socially vapid people were not supposed to depict real life. ?
