Stop, do not pass GO!, do not collect $200. I'm thinking it is time to circle back to the beginning of this thread and look at the advice, specifically, buy a used engine.
I'm going take the wheel off make sure the cam is aligned tdc, I didn't triple check it(tart). I did push the crank 2 revolutions though seemed fine.
I assume the knocking is coming from misfire from missing bearing.
Thanks for the words of inspiration. So I was able to get some old dirty bastard 2 diagnostic codes. I put the green fuel line to fuel rail plastic back in with no luck. Here are the codes.
I think it might be a combination of problems. knock sensor stopping the gas peddle from working?
(P0113)
intake air temp sensor 1 circuit high
and
(P0118)
engine coolant temp sensor 1 circuit high
I think the missing rod bearing might cause it to not idle.
I'm not selling it. I'd get a new engine but it's manual and I don't want to have to convert it.
Someone said I should be able to test it without adding coolant back in but I think it also might be contributing to bad fuel pressure?
some folks here have over 100,000 miles on their 3G TLs with nothing but Regular grade gasoline.
Those folks think they're being smart saving a couple of bucks at fill up, but in reality, are shortening the life of their engines. The label inside the fuel door says Premium Fuel Only for a reason. The car has a high compression ratio (11.00) and is designed to run on Premium exclusively, 91 Octane or higher. I didn't make it to 343K by using Regular!

1. Slap the crankshaft bolt off with PVC rope/thread
I put in maybe 8 fts worth that stoped the flywheel/crankshaft from rotating.
2. Hold the timing belt tensioner with the batter long bolt 🔩.
Thats the tip. That's the body of the bolt below the cam.
3. Use a plumbers pipe stabilizer to hold piston rings in place while you tap the piston in. You might be able to use the one on the air box to throttle holder. That's the piece but the diameter might not be large enough.
I am so entertained, intrigued, and perplexed by this thread....I check daily to see what other madness has happened. What is your end goal here? Seems like a lot of work and money being thrown at an engine that is obviously past its prime. Curious why you haven't picked up a junk yard engine and swapped it out? Proving a point? Entertaining yourself and us? I mean the fact that you kept running the engine knowing you left a rod bearing out, no coolant......is this a derby car?

It's got coolant I was just testing it before it over heats. I only drained like a gallon out, half the radiator. The piston was $40 on eBay. Oil pan was $30 on eBay. And it was just time + a workout . I don't know how difficult it will be to convert a automatic engine to a manual (Americans don't drive real cars). Or if that will be the end all problem. The engine still won't rev. How am I going to get the fuel line pressure back? Probably need to get sugar out the gas tank cause ugly didn't want me fucking his bitch, he got tired of shleppn his sister.

It's going to be a gigantic pain in the ass to convert auto to manual on these cars, but given the fact that this thread exists in the first place, I feel like that's not going to stop you.
^He has a manual transmission in the car already. I believe he’s asking how to swap a used engine to a manual transmission. In for more details. As many have swapped engines on this platform, I personally don’t know what’s required, but I don’t think it would be as hard as what’s already been tried.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is all 2004-2006 J32A3 engines and all J35A6 engines are plug-in replacements for each other, regardless of which vehicle they started out in and regardless of which transmission they were originally bolted to.
I think y'all some weirdos telling me to swap the engine. I think your suffering from grease lightning fever. I think the converter was scrapped and when I took it out of the engine bay it clogged up. Causing the no idle. + probably a bent valve.

Yeah, if your goal is to spend way more time and money than necessary for something which will most likely prove unreliable in the long run, then those of us suggesting an engine swap are definitely weirdos.
" And I also forgot piston rod bearings on piston 6"
While I can appreciate the optimism that slapping in a new piston would resolve your issues, even if you had gotten lucky, you only dug yourself into a deeper hole by even attempting to start the car without a Rod Bearing. The journal is likely toast now, considering the condition of the engine you're better off swapping it out.

We've been trying to tell him that, but some folks just need to learn the hard way, and other folks, cannot learn at all.

I give him credit for taking the initiative where others don't, but these aren't Lego's, if you don't assemble it correctly it's not as simple as piecing it back together. I feel bad for the kid, but at the same time he's not listening to anyone's advice.
