I have one but only use it when I go down to new york city for the night like when I bartend thats the only time i use it because people in the city play bumper cars when they park i guess thats how there taugh how to park

The point of the bumper bully, buddy, badger and every other product like that out there is to to be flipped out over your bumper when parallel parking, or while being parallel parked. People need to stop driving around with them hanging out ALL THE TIME!! STICK IT IN THE TRUNK!! I see that atleast 2-3 times a day here in on LI.

Thats what I am saying. From the context of what they are typing I am guessing it is something that cushions your bumpers if someone decides to hit your car while parking.

 

Not so much cushions, but it's a rubber flap so it keeps it from getting scratched. I'm not saying it's totally useless, I'm just saying it's tacky and rediculous driving with it out.

 

Does it add any horsepower when it is fully flapping in the wind?

hey hey lets watch what we say about new yorkeers lol.. its true doe ppl just dont care here.... i have a bumper guard and for some strange reason everytime i put it on it leaves a black like on my bumper and i have to wax it off... any one know why? or how to stop this?

 

Probably means someone hit your car and that is just to show you that the bumper buddy is working.

 

yeah but i dont think that sit cause even when i park in my garage i put in on and the black line still shows up.. im guessing the color comes off the bumper guard

I was actually thinking about something i could put on the front and rear bumpers to ward of tailgaiters and people who don't know how to park.

Maybe huge front and rear tow-hooks, so if someone does hit your car they will pay dearly and your bumper should stay scratch free.

 

Try attaching a liner underneath.

i though the same thing... here in ny ppl will see that and still hit your car just cause you have that... i remember i was waiting for my father to come down stairs and i swear there was a parking that fit 3 hummers and this guy came no lie like 10mph and bam into a bmw backed up bam into a older car and bam into the bmw again. when i say he hit these ppl hard it was hard and he got out the car as if he didnt care.. i wanted to smack that guy so bad.. if he would had done this to my car i would had choked him..

My bumper bully is 30" long, made of ash wood, and sits in my trunk. It only comes out when someone really needs it.

 

lol.. Yeah my bumper bully is 3 ft long breaker bar and it's come close to going kadonk on a couple of dumb kids.. and if anyone wants to come up to my window for some drive thru service and pull some macho b.s. they'll meet my 1911.. lol..

Not too much older than you. Some dumb kid thought it would be fun to ride my bumper through my neighborhood. So playing the parent role instead of the adult I slowed it down..... stop... put it in park and had a friendly talk about driver safety, civics and ethical responsibility.. went something like: "What the f*&k's your malfunction.. You drive any closer to my bumper and I'll stick my foot so far up you a$* you'll be praying to holy je*.."..

kid calls sheriff and picks up one of his buddies to testify to the event.. I live next door to a constable and it's in my neighborhood.. kid gets the 5th degree and breaks down.. lol.. haven't seen him or his hatch ricer since.

but in all seriousness.. everyone should play the adult and be vigilant and defensive. I've had a couple of classmates shot while driving on the freeway in California because one of them was yelling at the other in the car, joking around.. car next to them thinks they're yelling at them.. and the rest isn't too difficult to figure out. luckily the two of them survived, one shot 3 times. Perp never caught.
