in between the hids and the center grill...you turn them on by twisting this ringlike thing on the switch where you turn on your lights....sorry if my description is kinda vague..i did the best that i can...hopefully my best was good enough.........

I used a Max Gold 55W 9006 bulb as I found the 9006 Yellow Ion bulbs to look only "off - white" when on with a irredescent effect on the edges of the bulb pattern. This caused more distraction to other drivers and did not give the yellow look I was looking for.
Try searching for posts by me, it is in the old stuff somewhere

the foglights are not HID. Bi-Xenon means that one xenon bulb is used to power both the low and high beams. there is a shutter that reflects the light into the highbeam housing. This is obviously to reduce cost becaues it would not make sense to have 2 xenon bulbs for headlight when the high beams are rarely used.

Bi-Xenon means both the high and low beams are HID. In the TL, they use the same bulb with a shutter to control how much light they give off.
Stand outside your car some day and pull back on the high beam lever, you will hear a loud clunk, that is the solinoid moving the shutter on the headlight.

I found 9006 Polarg brand pure yellow lamps at a few sites. They are made in Japan, package labeling is only in Japanese.
One is http://store.racinglab.com/po90puyesube.html
They appear a strong yellow so others don't think your high beams are on. Yellow is thought by some to be better in fog. I live in a coastal area with fog quite often so thought I give them a try. Happy so far.
One of the pictures on my link shows them on, but they don't photograph well in the daylight. I'll add some night time photos soon.

I am also using the Polarg. I tried turning it on/off in night time to see how effective it is, and it is quite good. It has even wider viewable area than the HID headlight. If you turn on both the fog and the HID, it is very bright on the road, when compare to just the HID only. With HIDs only, there is an sharp edge on the road, everything above that line is dark and not reachable by the HID, the fog can compensate that.

Just curious how much brighter and whiter it is compare to factory. Is their any blue tint or just pure white??? Any pics??? Might be interested in buying the same ones as yours but don't know if the $$ is well spent if it is not a drastic change.
