Blutooth Problem

I HAVE A T608 PAIRED WITH THE CAR. SEEMS LIKE EVERYTIME I DIAL NUMBER BY SAYING THEM THE CAR MAKES THE CALL THAN DROPS IT AFTER THE FIRST RING. PHONE IS STILL ON WITH THE CALL CONTINUING THE CAR DROPS THE CALL . IT JUST SOMES OUT OF HAND FREEMODE AND I HAVE TO PICK THE PHONE UP TO LISTEN TO THE CALL. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM. SAME THING HAPPENS WHEN I CALL USING THE SEND FEATURE FROM THE NAVIGATION SCREEN. I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED IT IF I AM DIALING FROM THE PHONE BOOK. help!!!!!!

It sounds as though you may be losing the BT connection between the car and the phone. I use a T608 also, and I've had that happen to me once, when the phone battery was low. I put the phone in the upper console, plugged the car charger in and everything worked fine.

Yes, I have had this problem and still do occasionallly...

First... All you have to do to get the call back to the HandsFreeLink in the car is to press the top button and say "TRANSFER".

The problem is not that the call gets dropped.. the problem is in the bluetooth connection.... So the call still is on the phone.. you just have to transfer it back.

I do not get this problem ALL the time, only occasionally. I think it has to do with wither the signal strength on the call OR the battery stregnth.... More or less I think it has to do with the battery stregnth.

Please let me know if this works for you.

One thought. I don't have a BT phone yet, but could it be: ?? Nearby 802.11b WiFi networking (uses same 2.4ghz band) or near a home with a strong 2.4ghz cordless phone in use ??

Just an off base thougth to see "where" it happens, maybe it's a WAP doing it.

You just have to hold the CANCEL button for 5 seconds... not both buttons to run the diagnostic.

I do not know what else you can do in this mode besides hear the car tell you it is ok.
