It's bolted on. There is a PDF file with instructions on hondacuraworld.com.

Cool. I'm getting one after I sell some various parts off my old car.

Is the lip spoiler a water trap? It looks to me like it is, but I'd like an opinion from one who has one on their car, thanks.

spoiler

Also...does it keep the back of the car cleaner? The TL gets really dirty/ dusty on the rear of the car.

Does the lip spoiler alleviate this?

To those who have installed it, do you really need the "spring tool" to put the spring helpers on?

You must have some crazy drilling skills...took closer to 30 minutes for mine

Yes, it is definately a water trap...the trunk is really flat, so when I was my car, the water gathers there a bit. Nothing a water blade cannot alleviate.

No need...I didn't even change the spring and my trunk pops up the same as it did before the spoiler install. I'm sure you need it when installing the full wing spoiler, but no need here.
