Don't really care about the price....as long as they do a good job. I was thinking about taking my car to "The Tint Shop" on 355 (right off shady grove RD in rockville,MD) but I donno...it looks kinda shady lol

I'm really happy with the Formula One Pinnacle tint I got from LA Tint out in Manassas. It was a bit pricey, but they did good work. The only down side is that I had to install my own mole skin.

LA Tint exactly - i had mine done in sterling though. Prices are high, but you get what you pay for.

About what would you pay for front, sides, and rear. (+ 5% strip at top of front) There's a D&L across the street from me, but I'd rather travel a little bit to get the job done right the first time.

Did they just turn you down after asking them to install it?

I had mine done last week by these guys:

http://www.toointensewindows.com/

Seem to be the only Huper Optik dealer in Maryland. I won't speak the final results yet as the tint is still drying and such, but the experience was good. They come to you (I was in Columbia, MD at the time) and bring everything they need with them which was really nice cause I had them do the tint while I was at work. They did the rear door quarter panels properly and back window as a single sheet which I'd expect from a decent tint shops.

As to price, I opted to go for the Huper Optik which set me back a little over $600. A buddy of mine did his at the same time with the normal tint (LLumar I think) and it was closer to $300.

I think I will go with the LA Tint, because that is just way more than I am willing to spend for a tint job! I got a nice tint job on my last car (03 TL-S) for a 1/4 of that. But I will spend more for my 06 TL because I want it done nice. Just not THAT much! But to each his own...

FDI Fresh Designs Inc.

Located in college park route 1. Good prices. No bubbles or problems. Cost me 170 for my 04 WDP TL.

Yeah, I asked when setting up the appointment and they said they didn't do installs. Not that big a deal, I just did it myself before bringing it in, but it would have been nice.

OK, Thanks.

I think I'll try the one in Manassass. The one in Woodbridge looks a bit shady.
