Contact Jeff at flatlinegraphix@aol.com

He has carbon fiber, black, white, silver, graphite, red, yellow, blue, & chrome

Very cool... Mine is a TL Type S which is why I used carbon fiber.

His prices are reasonable, just email him with requests and he will send you a price...

The measurements for our TL's are, 4.375" (4&3/8) wide and 1.125" (1&1/8) tall.

It looks like the Acura is in brushed silver vinyl overlayed on carbon fiber vinyl am I right? Or is the carbon-fiber under there a real plate? Hmmm this just gave me an idea.....

I can easily make this myself with an exacto knife.....seems to be all he used if you look closely.

not bad at all, especially if you dont want to mess with taking those stickers off. they can be a pain.

i just goof-offed the crap out of mine, and now there is no sign they were ever there, but it takes a few applications and your car needs to be aired out for a while.

nice find

Yep, carbon fiber vinyl w/ Brushed metal vinyl... my brother has piano black w/ brushed acura in his NBP w/ camel since his car doesn't have CF accents.

Use the strongest available rubbing alcohol you can. I believe CVS has like 90%+ soak it into a paper towel and let it sit over it for about 5-10mins then remove and gentle peel away. I haven't tried it on my TL yet but it worked on my VW.

I promised I wouldn't divulge pricing since I bought them in a grouping for my families cars... But, email Jeff at flatlinegraphix@aol.com

He is a good guy and will give you a fair price for sure. He has a bunch of colors but I loved the Brushed Metal lettering.

And yes, they just stick right over the current airbag warning stickers.

Oh and definitely mention that you heard about it from Josh Levine on the Acura TL forum... I'm hoping he will give you a better price since it is a referral.

Best,

I went on their website to see what they have, but none of the links worked. I e-mailed him, so hopefully he'll e-mail me back soon.

NIce! But only one dilemma. "Acura" while visor is flipped down or upside down "ACURA" when it isn't flipped down and vice versa??

Thats why I will opt to just remove them and not replace them or cover them up with something like on my old VW. Off topic but I miss turbo'd cars.

I put them on so that when you flip it down and look at it from outside the car they are readable... so they are backwards when you look at them inside... I'll post more pictures soon.

He will definitely give you a better deal on a group buy.

No group buys unless Jeff at flatlinegraphix contacts Astro and becomes a vendor.

That's just me. It's like I get a headache just looking at it. I'm sure some passenger might want to turn their head just to read it lol.

Blkaspec used Goof Off to get his stickers off the cloth side of the visor. Anyone out there used Goo Gone, which is what I have on hand? I'm pretty sure the Goo Gone would get the sticker off but I'm not sure if it would stain the cloth.

Any other successful removal methods?

Years ago I did this and I was able to peel them off. Used a small bit of Goo Gone to remove the left over adhesive. On one visor you can see a slightly (very) diff color since I think the sun fade the rest of the visor.

Otherwise you can not tell they were ever there. I put the Goo Gone on the paper towel (might have been a rag not sure). I did not use a lot.

I have the grey interior looks SOO much cleaner without the ugly idiot stickers.

I did use the Goo Gone and it worked out well. Like you, I now have a slightly lighter color where the stickers were, but it still looks much better!

Josh, I've been trying to get ahold of Jeff at Flat Line for a few days now via phone and e-mail. I have not heard back from him. I visited the website and none of the links down the left hand side of the site work at all. I've even tried to contact some of the other people listed on the site and left messages, but to no avail. Heck, even some of the phone numbers are incorrect on the site.

Any thoughts or ideas as to how to get ahold of these guys?

Definitely use the email address I gave you. He does sometimes take a little while to respond, but he eventually does... I wish I could tell you something better. I am confident that you will get a response. I don't recommend ordering the carbon fiber vinyl as the background anymore, the black vinyl sticks much much better! I had to have him redo mine in black w/ brushed.

On the bright side, once you get ahold of him and pay him he sends the stickers out like that day or the next.

Jeff did some LEXUS vinyls for the calipers on my IS300 and they turned out fantastic... I'm pretty sure this is the same guy. This sounds like a good solution to an ugly stock sticker!
