what does serice due b12 mean??....sorry only had car for 3 months

Replace engine oil and oil filter
Rotate tires
Replace air cleaner element( Engine)
Replace dust and pollen filter( Cabin filter)


Check parking brake adjustment
Inspect these items:
-Front and rear brakes
-Brake hoses and line (including ABS)
-Tie rod ends, steering gear box, and boots
-Suspension components
-Driveshaft boots
-All fluid levels and condition of fluids
-Exhaust system
-Fuel lines and connections
-Drive belt

^Yep, a bunch of checks, but most important that needs to be done is the oil change, tire rotation, and filters change (cabin, engine)

just a suggestion: check out the owner's manual-that is if the previous owner left it with the car. it has lots of great info.

You do not want to just add. Just do the whole shebang.

The filter is the main reason why we even do a oil change in a short time... not the oil. Buy a "oil change kit" from like Advance Auto Parts for roughly $30 or buy a RP filter and your preferred oil. If you don't feel comfortable in doing your own, buy the oil, and pay a trusted mechanic to put it in for you for like $10-15.

also got a tighten gas cap warning? wtf is that? It was plenty tight. ill go do some searching

You would be better off doing the whole oil/filter change, unless you know for a fact that the person/dealer you bought it from actually did 3k miles ago. The local dealer wants 200-300 bucks for what they call "Spring Cleaning" maint. lol
