^Yep, a bunch of checks, but most important that needs to be done is the oil change, tire rotation, and filters change (cabin, engine)

just a suggestion: check out the owner's manual-that is if the previous owner left it with the car. it has lots of great info.

Here's a link to the owner's manuals, if you don't have one:

thanks!! think its oil it says 15% ..... could i jus add?.monly been 3 months

TheChamp531 05-08-2012 07:46 AM

You do not want to just add. Just do the whole shebang.

The filter is the main reason why we even do a oil change in a short time... not the oil. Buy a "oil change kit" from like Advance Auto Parts for roughly $30 or buy a RP filter and your preferred oil. If you don't feel comfortable in doing your own, buy the oil, and pay a trusted mechanic to put it in for you for like $10-15.

You would be better off doing the whole oil/filter change, unless you know for a fact that the person/dealer you bought it from actually did 3k miles ago. The local dealer wants 200-300 bucks for what they call "Spring Cleaning" maint. lol

@LoveMyTL-S Thanks!

@Guiltyox I am from Myrtle Beach :tgif:
