Auto Locks

How do you disarm the automatic damn locks from going off at 10mph? I live in the country and if I want my damn car locked I will lock it, otherwise I want it unlocked with keys in ignition so I do not have to worry about finding my damn keys and accessing any door at any time I damn well please. I dont want "Christine" to control everything. If someone wants to jump out of my car at more than 10MPH, well good luck to them I say! It is a 2007 Acura TL 3.2 Base (No GPS) with 180k..Timing Belt (Aisin kit with Mitsuboshi belt) Engine Flush, Radiator Flush, Transmission Filters (both the top and bottom WIX) Alternator and ( Brando Serpentine belt) (Receipts for parts and labor by ASE Mechanic) Its White with tan interior. Body is in very good condition (normal scratches and paint chips for 13 year old car) and interior is a little rough, dashboard on drivers side cracked but have a carpet that comes with it, and the seats have tears in them but I have seat covers both front and back (Coffeee colored) If I can not disarm the Auto locks than I do not want this damn car! It is mechanically sound ( will need new brakes soon) but runs very good. $3500 which is barely more than I just paid for all the maintenance on the damn car.

Go through the information settings where your odometer is, you can toggle settings, including autolocks, there.

yeah go through the MID. under the gas/coolant temp there're two buttons, top is "ok/enter" and bottom are arrows. hit the arrows until you get to vehicle settings or something like that. go through that menu, there'll be something for beep when locking, light dim time, auto lock when driving or when parking, and a couple others

Also - step by step instructions are in the owners manual if memory serves from when I programmed my wife's MDX. I think it's a nice feature honestly, I have seen many videos of unauthorized entry into people's vehicles in road rage, random acts of violence etc that could have been prevented by the feature. Counterpoint is if you crash into water there is an added step to safely exit potentially but I don't drive near water ever.
