Ive been looking ALOT in the past pages of thread and hope that im not reposting. basically, i might be getting a new acura tl this october, and my max price to be speading on any car is 40 grand. ive been lookin for the new ASPEC CONCEPT and i STILL cant get any dates for releases. If ANYONE knows after going to any auto shows or something, PLEASE let me know.......thanks and sorry mods forehand if i am reposting, i couldnt find any threads

Out of all of these the concept looks more of a possiblity, acura can easily sell the new bumbers and exhaust tips for a x amount of $ they already sell simple add on a-spec parts, why can't they go for the concept look? im waiting and getting bored. the curent a-spec parts is growing on to me but i must wait out for ron jon w/ his parts. If ACURA reads these forums pleeaaaase develop the concept look for sale !

think bout it fellas...TL A-spec Concept..u figure if it does come out with the "300 Hp SH-awd" it's gona be sick..jus as good as the RL and Bout 10 grand cheaper...y would they put this car out....to kill RL sales?...sry to admit it fellas but i doubt this car is coming out unless acura is really stupid which i know they r not

 

yeah i agree with you i don't think this version of the TL will ever see sh-awd. it would kill sales of the new RL which would be stupid. i believe most of the members here believe its going to happen because they want it to not because it is going to. acura has announced that it is going to introduce sh-awd in the rest of its models but its going to be a slow transition and perhaps the next version of the TL might get it. doesn't make sense to big bang sh-awd in all its cars. getting 300hp might be a possibility like the previous gen's type-s model. this probably would not be a huge change as they can tune the 3.2 to 300hp. along subtle changes like a sportier suspension and body kit can help market a new type-s model which can be used to boost sales of the TL sales begin the fall as the model is becoming more common. but to suggest that acura would re-engineer a new sh-awd TL would be pretty bold and wishful thinking.
