whats up everyone, sorry if this has been touched on but i cant find it anywhere. Does anyone know of a battery that will fit the 3G TL with top and side posts? im anal and have alot of accessories hooked to my battery, therefore im looking for a top and side mounted battery to keep them organized. thanks for any help. btw...i prefer optima if they are out there

 

Don't know on the top/side post battery. Perhaps you can get an RV battery that has the smaller terminals in addition to the standard posts?

The other option is to add some type of accessory connector to a standard battery. I have two additional hot wires to a 24F top post battery and it's very manageable and clean. How many wires are you talking about?

 

ive got 3 big wires and 2 small. the 3 big ones are the main to the battery, amp, not sure of other, and then my 2 accessories. im using military style battery terminal on the positive side. I found this i might try. http://www.prime4x4.com/shop/OffRoad...AccBolt001.htm
ill just wire loom the 2 small accessories to this bolt and call it a day. seems much simpler. thanks for the input. if im not satisfied with this i will try your way.

I would actually like the same thing. I am currently running an Optima blue top in my '03 that has dual terminals. Its going to be hard finding the dual terminal type battery. This is due to the reverse terminal design of the current required battery.

 

send me a pm or post back if you find one. im sure you could find something that would not "say it fits" but will fit in battery try and clear the hood. im just not gonna be the guinea pig to try test fitting batteries lol.
