That is it
In all seriousness, I really appreciate that. I really just lucked out and found a heck'uv'a deal. You can read all about my mid-life crisis here: https://acurazine.com/forums/car-talk-5/ttribes-german-kimchi-then-german-then-blow-up-engine-then-fix-journey-thread-822243/
Sorry for the thread jack. Got a little carried away having fun.

Dat, look-it's 250 degrees outside today. I can understand why you're upset about your TL. I'm glad you're keeping your Acura.
It must be hot outside though. Everyone is on Acurazine and posting a lot of nothing here!

If OP gets sick of us, we could take this to my "Stop it. Please." thread and see how many more people tell us to mind our own business and stop "worrying" about what other people do to their cars.

I was 18 when it hit 122 here (our all time record). The airport shut down because the biggest jets couldn't get enough lift. I was driving a '76 Datsun pickup truck at the time, no AC, and the engine finally gave up the ghost that day.
BTW - which mod keeps dinging my Exp. Points?! It's like I have my own personal Professor Snape saying - "5 points from Gryffendor House for Mr. Tribe's cheek."
it does not cost $80 to fill up the TL tank. it costs about $60-$65 for premium gas at about $4.25 a gallon
you must have a hole in your gas tank or something
you should invest in something like this

My oldest son got me into it with him. Read all the books, seen all the movies, annihilated the LEGO vid game. It's been fun to do something with my soon-to-be 13 year old. I fear the teenage years will be rather different.

ttribe-enjoy your M! They are awesome cars. I had a 5 Series about 3-4 cars back (535i-white with a red leather interior). Loved the car, but it was always in the shop. I hope you have better luck than I did.
I'm done with BMW.....

[sigh] That was my biggest concern as well. We'll see how things go, just couldn't pass up the chance to own a car like this at least once in my life.
Just throwing a few pointers out there for you OP if you haven't already did so. Keep a good maintenance schedule on your car like: tire rotation every 6K miles, oil change every 3K for regular motor oil & every 6k for synthetic, check your tire air pressure, & ect.
IMO the point to having a nice car with all these extra add on's that we throw on it. Is not to always drive it like we stole it, drive it in style and cruise. Being as low as my car is right now & paying $$ for gas isn't even something worth complaining about
