750i vs. S430

So we were coming back in my friends 750i? and we lined up with the previous gen S430 at a light. It had custom (ugly) wheels and wanna-be quad exhaust. There were three of us in the 750 and he had another passenger in the S. Light turned green and we both went at it. Benz got the jump at first, but we started pulling pretty hard and there was no way he was catching up. We stopped at around 120mph...

By far the most comfortable street race i've ever been in....Even at WOT...I felt as if I could take a nap

Nice race. Is his car the new 750i with the 4.8L or the old 750i with the V12?

Those were my favorite 7 series bodies before they came out with the newer style. Especially with the sport package and the big 18's.

My boss has a new 750Li. Nice car, but I would've gone with the M5 in that price range.

I like the M5 too but, I would rather have the 7-series if my driving is going to be extensive. Having spent some time driving the E60s (530i, 545i and 550i), the 7 would be more comfortable on trip

Directly on point, I have driven the 750Li. Although it did not float my boat (keyword: boat), it seemed to have tons of pull.

^^Yeah, I don't think he goes very far though. He just "needs" the flagship model and isn't into ultimate performance.
