Where is the DIY for the 3G TL spark plug replacement? Ive checked the boards and all I can find is the 2G DIY.

Yup, great thread! Used it myself. Bottom line for me: Use the same Iridium plugs that came with the car and remove the strut bar to access the three rear plugs. Saved some serious cash vs stealership doing it...

 

Couple suggestion, blow out the plug cavity before removing the plugs and use a piece of rubber hose attached to the plug to start in the threads to avoid crossthreading that can easily be done if you don't have a touch with a socket.

 

Great thread and link. Did my plugs last week. Improved my idle instantly. I also used some Deep Creep to clean out the throttle body area. The valve had some build up. I do this every time change plugs. Thanks for the info here! Helps us noobs out.
