Rice is anything that's done to the car to make it look like a wanna-be, in this case, a wanna be race car...like racing seats, stickers, 5 point harness, roll cage that isn't even welded to the frame, or.....a tow hook...

i would love something on the rear that would mess peoples cars up that get to close to my rear when at stoplights. it seems like people stop 2 inches from my bumper since i lowered my tl. mabie im just paranoid bc i got rearended recently.

lol how funny i got stuck in the snow the other day and it was like 6 inches of snow going up hill, i almost went into the ditch here in tennessee and one guy pulled over with a really old truck and hauled me out, first i didnt know where the hook was but i figured its in the trunk where all the other peices are there is like 2 peices to it.

that is true but i screwed mine on so hard it was harder to take it off with a wrench i had to hammer the wrench to loosen it up

The first 3G TL I ever test drove had the tow hook on the front bumper. I thought it looked retarded as hell. Thought it was some kind of weird mod the previous owner had installed. Needless to say, I didn't buy it. Later, when I learned more about TL's, I couldn't believe that Acura actually had the bumper set up so that you could easily add one if you wanted.

 

I don't have it on mine personally, not really my style but i have used it once when i got stuck on the side of the road and some guy had to pull me out. During winter i usually put a rear tow hook on just in case it snows and i get stuck but that's just for winter
