PCV's can get stuck / gunk
A catch can is cheap.. just put one together yourself.
Definitely don't spend +150 on one

 

I just replaced my PCV valve on teh X..
It was gunky
Plastic was real brittle.. even snapped after a little pressure

 

A gunked / stuck closed PCV valve can blow out your rear main seal
So ROI (as long as you don't fux with it like CTSV guys with double quadruple catch can creating more crankcase pressure), is you add some reliability and longevity to it.

 

 

Where teh fuck are the o-rings on the OG one?!?!?!

Yeah, fuck a PCV valve..

 

The replacement is an intermotor part..
