PS...I could probably up the resale value by more than the cost to retro...but there's no guarantee that I will, plus you need the AC controls to get the seat coolers working and then there's the nightmare of figuring out pins and wiring to get all functionality back. That's why I haven't done it.

Well, there are fewer die hard car enthusiasts.
It is definitely easier in traffic. That part is a fact.
I realize now part of my disdain for driving to miami was the 1, 2, 1, 2 gear changes. Auto makes it more bearable.
That said, my life isn't driven in traffic enough for it to be a deciding factor. I still love shifting gears myself more.
I have learned to enjoy and utilize the paddles though, which does help with getting to still hear the motor downshift and gurgle and feel like you're maintaining some control.

and let me tell you, I'm die hard.
I spent 3 years doing 1.5 hours each way in bumper to bumper traffic in my 97 Accord. Never truly minded at the time but yeah, that shit sucks.

So I went in to buy my computer yesterday... I was going with the i7 7700K 3.6GHz processor... until today the new 8th gen series of that processor came out. Shiiiet, it was fuck all for me to upgrade to it, so why not. The 7th gen was still a shit ton of processing power that I won't even start to scrape until I get a video card... but shiiiet, Why not.
