nah, I think the battery was just getting old. I was expecting it to die this winter, but it surprisingly made it through some of the coldest nights without issue. Noticed it struggling the last few days and knew it was going out. The plan was to buy a new one today anyway, lol.
It wasn't that bad though. I just took the trickle charger off the Nismo, upped the amperage and put it on the TL for 30 min.

Me too!
Not the jizzmo part, but my battery was dead again today. Second time in just over a week. But Acra dealer is like, nah, that's fine. Just drive more.
Dicks.

I went right I the top. Checking at the office with the owner (AcraCares Cumstomer Service). Trying to see if they'll have the dealer's family executed.

I'm going to Costco at lunch to pick up a Kirkland. Their batteries have always served me well. Plus, they're cheaper and it's Costco.. best return policy!
They did it for me...
lined them up and used a .50 cal too to save the bullet.

When I send Acura a bag of dicks, and I have, I get the real long dicks that only fit upright (think pack of twizzlers, except tips sticking out). Then pack it real tight, so when they go to pull one out, they all go flying out. Long dicks everywhere.

makes me think of those "can o' snakes" people used to buy as gag gifts... open the lid, and watch them fly!!

What, serious? They still had Kirklands on the shelf here, when I walked past maybe 2 weeks ago? I wonder if that's just in the US?
Either way, sucks it's only a 42 month warranty. Even an Acra battery comes with a 60 month warranty, here.
I guess I'll find out in about an hour what they sell at Costco here. If it is Interstate, I'm likely not buying it.

Definitely for us in the US, not sure if Canada has followed suit yet.. maybe not! I mean Interstate made the Kirkland Signature batteries anyway but not sure why warranty went down.

Hmm... that I didn't know. With how harsh the winters can be here, I'd like to get more than a 42 month warranty. Maybe they are longer here? I dunno.
Either way. I'll figure it out. Me gud enjinear!

Thoi, Costco does still sell Kirkland batteries up here.
I'm thinking they changed their warranties on them, though. If it fails in the first 36 months, they replace it for free. Then they come up with stupid system after that. If it fails in the 37-45 month range, you only get 60% back. It goes down from there, all the way to 100 months, where you only get 5% back.

That's been the case for us for a while now.
Also that's the case for many aftermarket batteries.. Autozone, O'Reilly, NAPA, i think all those companies have a pro-rated warranty as such.
damn canaduh is slow on the game!

They may have had it here for awhile too.. I haven't had to buy a battery in about 5 or 6 years, I think.

I'd like fries.. extra cryyyyyssspppyyyyy

It's been my experience that they fail in the first 36 mos anyways.. or at least first 48 ~90% prorate.
If not.. pop a cell and drain it.. take it in. Free fidddyyy!!! :thief:
