swap that bitch next year, after you find a job. B16s are cheap as fuck these days. Though if I may, I suggest a B18. Even a non-VTEC version- you can get them for dirt cheap. The little bit of extra torque makes the cars all that much more enjoyable to drive. The B16 lacks torque in a desperate way.

Actually, fuggit. I just noticed the rust. Fair to assume the entire suspension, brakes, and everything else underneath is a nice shade of rust?

its auto, the gf drives it too and its a daily commuter even in the summer when I have the TL out.
To be honest with you the I think the motor is on its way out! The sheer amount of oil that this things burns is very alarming. And when you check it the shit is fucking black! Sometimes it gets so low that vtec will not engage and the dipstick will not even give a reading LOL.
My buddy has a h22 motor that works great and would give me it for dirt cheap but then id have to get a b series tranny too. H2B
But I really dont plan on doing anything with it other than driving it into the fucking ground lol. Im actually scared to look underneath it, but I'm going to get it on my buds hoist here next week and see what I'm working with lol
I threw some 10k his in it cuz the gf thought they were pretty
And that quarter panel has gotten worse but can def be fixed, of course not the correct way but whatevs.
I do enjoy the EL though its a nice car and has treated us really well
