I never tried the weathertech until this car...but I only tried it because the oem mats were close to the price of them, so I gave them a shot.

So who drives the accord? Or was it sold?

There is a long story, but the short version is that the Accord is my wife's. It doesn't get driven much but she can't bring herself to sell it. I don't dwell on the fact that I was in the same situation with my baby, The Tacoma, but got rid of it for her 4Runner. (Okay, so I've always wanted a 4Runner anyway, and it wasn't *that* hard to do, but still-- I miss my truck)

Some day she'll sell it on, but it's one of those things that, since it doesn't cost us anything but insurance and registration, it's not a major burden. So for now it's just there, like a few of our other toys, not getting played with because of reasons.

Had it since October 2012. First new vehicle I've ever owned; mainly because the difference between a late model used and new was literally $2000. Since I keep my cars for almost forever, it wasn't so much a financial mistake to buy new and get *exactly* what we wanted. No Ragrets!

Why do I think you're collecting a dossier and will show up to mouth fuck me someday? (I know Maj is filing this info away for nefarious purposes)

Although, I'm thinking about mocking it up on the car just for shits and giggles. mcmiyoung Simon guy over on the 2GTSX side did something similar with his sedan and it's over the top stupid awesome.

Yay! Jury Doody day. Wherein a microcosm of society gathers in a large room, generally avoids one another, with the sole desire of getting to go back to work.

Yeah, the last time I got selected to appear for jury duty, it was for a case something along the lines of "habitual sexual misconduct with a child".

Then they mentioned the guy had already plead guilty and this was just for the sentencing phase. Oh, and the guy was sitting there in front of us the whole time.

I could not nope out of there quick enough.

Hopefully today is for a traffic infraction or something so I don't get further disappointed with society as a whole.

I've never been selected for jury duty.. but Wifey has... and she's not allowed to be on the jury here because she's not a Canadian citizen

Don't they do a vetting process? Just be like "I'ma yell GUILTY at the top of my lungs, regardless of the evidence!!" to get off jury duty

I made it to lunch time once...then they plead out and let the jury pool that was pending go with a lunch voucher.
Boring.

Did you get mix-matched sizes for random offset wheels that are way too big for your car?

Because I hear that's what the cool kids are doing these days.

Oh, and DeerMeat, you're pretty much right.

I took a loan for my Tacoma and once I paid it off I kept making car payments to myself. So when it was time for new vehicles, I had a pretty sizable "car fund".

Plus, we shopped nationwide and were able to leverage for pretty much the best prices on both vehicles when we bought. I think the Wagon was also helped because Acura was doing away with the TL and the TSX at the same time and while Honda doesn't typically discount their vehicles, I got it for a considerable savings.

It's budgeting.

Side note: guy saw I ordered non-stock sizes and had to do all these checks and was like: "We got a new manager, he's gonna chew me out if I don't at least check to make sure they fit" I should have referred him to Acurazine

probably the ones that have had issues with burning oil.
probably just ensures even if it is burning oil you won't leave it alone long enough to have an issue.
