Today I saw two different 2G RL's when I was out doing stuff. I never really payed much attention to them, but I've seen a few now and they keep catching my eye. I totally don't hate them. The first one I saw was parked next to a RLX and I found the 2G to remarkably be much more handsome than the RLX.

Oh, and today I learned that if you're at a children's birthday party and the kids start whacking at a pinata (you know what's going to happen) and one of them inevitably gets smacked in the face with the pinata stick, it's generally looked down upon to respond with "IN THE FACE!!!!"

I mean, everyone saw it and they were all thinking the same thing, but *I'm* the bad guy for saying it out loud.

Whatever.

I was at a kids party today. They had no booze. All the kids were very small, so not really aware of the petting zoo and bounce house.
At least they got nice pics out of it.

Joe...sure enough, man...
Funny, I threw some h11 amber LED's in there to see how they'd look. They look cool AF but offer NO light output. I have take a closer look, I think I have an extra set of HID I can put in there to match the low beams. Easily accessibly by the lower splash guard by removing 5 clips.
Oh and PS...I just realized tonight how the low beams follow the steering, fucking cool

FFS.. when you start the car they tack left and right

I'm not sure if Betty's does this, but it's highly configurable from the display menu
You can set it so it locks after you walk away from the car (never have to remove key from pocket)
Set whether you want the lights to go on for different triggers.. etc.

Anyways..

LOL...yes sir, I knew it did that cause you had told me, but I thought that was just a self leveling system or something, I had never actually experienced watching them go left/right.
I went through all the settings...the one that makes me super annoyed is no mirrors down upon reverse. B's car does it and I got used to it from the TL but from what I'm reading, it was an option that was removed because it was "confusing" to the normal Cadillac demographic.

I actually have it set to lock after I walk away already, makes for a fun game of hurry the fuck up and stay near the car so it doesn't lock as I walk around and get Z.
I will say that taking keys out pocket is for fucking peasants When I get to work to drive the F150 I'm like, wtf...this thing might as well be a horse and carriage with it's lack of tech!

Just kidding, I'm not gonna get all Audi about my Caddy.

Bruh, you must really think I'm a fuckin moron!
Plus, it was partially because I'm trying to show her not to be scared of the blower. Dried the car off later on with it and she didn't cry like she usually does.

I use my oakley shades normally, but I figured if she was getting grass in her eyes, I should too.

I fucking hate my TL

I can't believe a car with this low of mileage is having this many issues. I fix one and two more appear. I'm getting tired of this chasing bullshit. Not even 85k miles on the car.

Wifey took the TL to the mountains to go hiking. On her way back, an hour and 45 minutes from home, I get a call that she's sitting on the side of the highway because the TL lost power while driving with cruise on and the dash lit up. She was 10 minutes from the next town so she fired it up again and started driving. All good except for the CEL.

I just scanned it and it's P2138. Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch D/E Voltage Correlation

anyone have any idea how I'd check to see if the throttle position sensor is taking a dump? My knowledge of electrical is very limited, so I wouldn't even know what wires to check with a voltmeter. I'm hoping it's just the sensor and not the actual throttle body. Fucking money pit this car is becoming.

Found an old thread where Majofo was extremely helpful and not an asshole (i mean that in a loving way). Way back in 2009, likely before he lost all hope in humanity from dealing with everyone on AZ hey, I don't blame the guy.

Anyway, sounds like it's the APP sensor- nothing to with the throttle body. Now if only I can find it for a reasonable price. I'm likely going to get hosed on the price, one way or another

APPsensor is a common failure point on the 3G, contemplating stocking one in my garage until mine eventually dies

Two things:

Change it asap.. it's usually not something that will go away for a while before coming back. It will put you in limp mode every time you're about to put the tip in.

Also.. TL is a boss. Some common issues, app sensor being one of them. The only time it's stranded the wife was due to the starter. I drove over.. banged the shiet out of the armature housing and we were back in business. I even did a poor man's rebuild of the starter and it kept me in business for over a year.

It's stranded me once.. first winter after buying her, shit Acura battery took a shit.

I bet you're just used to the fresh new smell of the Jizzmo and you've gotten desensitized to the character nuances of the HoMoCo.

Don't be like one of these noob bitches crying about the stupid little normal things that happen in a 10 year old car.

i.e. give ladiboi back his dickbike and quit being a sore ass.
