Trained jits Sat morning, weather is shit, but so far so good. Went to old house after to clean garage. As I'm in garage, I see a USPS truck drop a package in the street in front of my house as it drove by.. Like seriously, wtf. It got run over twice by the time I retrieved it. Instead of taking it to postal station, decide to play Santa.
The address was fucked, not even google knew where the fuck it was. As I'm headed to approximate location, I'm at an intersection, light turns green and as I'm going, a truck screeched it's brakes, swerves around stopped cars and blows through intersection. Almost took me out, luckily I saw him.
Find house, but not right address. Unit number is right but street address is fuxored. Fuck it, postal station. As I'm leaving, my fucking windshield wiper breaks off as I'm going 65. Fucking metal on glass. Can't see shit (rainy af). Luckily able to pull off and fix without getting run over.
Then detour to check out some furniture, some fucknut almost rear ended me (car not ass). Then as I'm leaving, intersection again, car locks up trying to stop and rear ends a box truck at the red. Super fucked, whole front end is fucked. Luckily they were able to get out mostly unscathed.
Well fuck this, go get some tacos at torchys for lunch.. as I get there, shit is locked down. Some kid just got shot by some dickwad shooting in the air apparently, luckily the kid is okay. If it were me, would have been dick level.. that would have been it.
Then today, got bundaberg guava. Shit is bananas. Pull the fucking bottle out and it explodes. It was so violent, it jettisoned the cap and glass into my fucking forehead, cutting me in between the eyes. I have no idea wtf is going on, but I was on a 20 ft ladder after, and all I could think was.. This is it. Fuck it.

I almost bought a WDP '08 6MT Type S for $17,500, the other day. And it was cross country and I'd have to drive it back 2200 miles.
78k miles, one owner, full service history from only one dealership. Flawless interior and exterior. OEM wheels in perfect condition. largely unmodified (just window tint and intake), all maintenance up to date and done preemptively in many cases, no outstanding issues, adult owner, etc.
The only reason I didn't ultimately go with it, is I really didn't want to have to drive back alone for 3 days, 12 hours a day. It's a looooong drive, across Canada.
I have no problem paying that kind of money. It's what I want. It's what I've wanted for years. It's something that I would have no issues driving for years on end, and as long as I take care of it, it will always be highly desirable and I'll always get a good return on it. Looks like the ones in good shape are starting to go up in value. Even if not, it's not a value thing I'm chasing. I want a perfect car and I'm willing to pay a premium for it. Looks like I'll be waiting for a local one to pop up in the spring.

I'm good, my friend...I have Z full time for a bit, which is nice to not have to juggle for the holidays.
Need to finish up some Christmas shopping and wrapping. Other than that just palling around town with my
gorgeous other half and her awesome kids...party of 6 wherever we go. Occasionally the stars align and we
get an adult weekend away in...once a month or so. Last time was St. Augustine...
Enjoying life a lot...loaning my Cuckmobile to my Swiss cousin and then my Sister when she gets into town...
it'll feel worth having kept it around for them to use while here. Then I'll probably go cheap insurance on it
to lower my monthly cost of ownership. Still can't get away from $62 to go 200-220 miles vs $42 to go 260-300 miles
when my work commute is 1000 miles a month. S2000 is too clean and collectible to go so the stable of cars
lives on for now.

Good stuff! Now that you're not juggling kids and such for the holidays, you can get back to juggling what you juggle best!
No automotive decisions were made this weekend apart from keeping what we've got. TL was fixed quickly and inexpensively so I'm gonna keep it as long as possible. Not gonna lie though - I was tempted to look at a CPO Cuck S4...silver with the black/red interior....6MT.....but I feel like down the road I would've regretted it.
