TL left me stranded last night in cold ass Boston. Thinking it's the starter....170K on the clock so stuff is bound to start failing. As long as it's not to expensive to maintain over the next year or two, I'ma keep it. Otherwise I'm already browsing cars, including CPO cucks.

I was parked in a weird spot so push start and DIY fix wasn't in the cards unfortunately. I felt...betrayed lol. I never had to call AAA with the 3G before

I hated that feeling. After knowing the car and doing so much maintenance it felt like a real slap in the face.

Also mandatory "pussayyyy" for not push starting no matter what.
With my 1990 civic hatch I didn't have the cash for a battery this one stretch of time...so I'd park facing down at the top of the ramp at work...every night, push start...
LMAO...but one night it was dark and I cut the wheel too early at the bottom and popped my front tire.
Ahhh...some Final Destination shit.
Take it as a hurdle...don't give up on her yet my friend. Next car might leave you stranded too and it'll be even MORE of a slap to call AAA WITH a $500 car payment.

I donut want a car payment again any time soon but I did manage to find some eye candy with 3 pedals nearby to test out if it boils down to it. However some of them are German which means I'll probably be calling AAA with the $500 car payment and some ridiculous repair cost on top. Sounds like I'll be sticking with the 3G for now

Meh...no 6MT on any of the new ones (I think) so I'll pass
Nah not giving up yet - just getting my ducks in a row just in case moves need to be made sooner than later. Just a little frustrated getting stranded outside in the cold. Battery was just replaced last year (HFL removed as a result) and is fine. I gave the starter a few hard knocks but no dice. Ground cable is also fairly corroded so I'ma swap that out too. Honestly one AAA call in 7 years of ownership ain't bad.

So I'm seriously thinking about going back to school and changing my career path.
My family has always wanted me to go into the health field. My mom was a manager at on of the local hospitals.
Being 28, I think I can finish by 30-31 and do a career change by 32.
I'll be honest though, math is a weakness of mine.
I mean, I can go work in investments, become a manager in investments with gubermint and make 125k a year. The Sr. CEO of our State pension fund (I used to work with him) he makes 800k a year. He would give the staff $100 for Christmas every year.
