FIVE???!!! Time for a rant:

If the fuggin' EPA would concentrate on getting the cars that go down the road looking like they're spraying of mosquito's off the road we might not have a problem.

I think there once was a time for Cats... back in the days of carburetors changes in atmospheric conditions and altitude meant that if someone took the time to tune their carb to the perfect 13:1 Air/fuel ratio that it wouldn't be tuned right a few hours later. Carbs always run either rich or lean. However, about the same time we started putting cats on cars we also started putting on electronically controlled fuel injection, that adjusted for the optimum fuel/air about 7 times every second. Now all cats do is restrict air flow and rob horsepower, which in turn makes the engine use more gas to make up the difference.

Chad, no...I'm curious if his setup sounds good...1 cat down vs the 2 up for rasp...probably not much loss in flow.

personally, if I were to mod my exhaust any further, I'd opt for the HFCs over the PCDs. I know it's the more expensive option, but not smelling the stank inside the car is a nice thing.

HFPCs are the only way to roll. Unless you're boosted I have never seen a reason to install PCDs.

J do you not have the most ideal exhaust possible? Lol. HFPC, v3 j, true dual?!? Why on earth would you want to change it up?

cats "scrub" some of the stuff out of the exhaust stream, regardless if your car is running stoich. While yes, they rob a bit of power, you can always replace them with high flow cats.

Yeah, I think we both knew that. And I can't be the one to break up that happy family. So I'll probably just head home and call off this dognapping caper.

Two: I was going to ask about that odd layout of flooring, but then I realized it's wood grained foam? Friggin awesome!

Beautiful baby and dog, J.

I can can see while cul0 wants to steal your pup. She looks like she'd be extremely loyal and her colouring is awesome.

I can also understand why he doesn't want to steal Z. He's already got two of his own

i was looking at that foam too! I was like "why is there hardwood/laminate on top of tiles? Poor child, sitting on such a hard surface "

and then I noticed the interlocking patter of the foam

I'm at about 137k miles, still on the OG cats. Next summer ill probably grab the HFPC. The smell, rasp and tarnishing of the exhaust tips with the PCDs is just too much BS for me for another 3 hp lol

topped off the car and took it to the hand wash. Now I'm having the oil changed, then headed to Americas tire for a free rotation and balance.

I want a new car

*sigh* I feel it's my obligation to now ask if they are washing it with soap and water or just using QD. I really don't want to do this, but at this point I've committed myself to the shtick. :soory:
