I was hoping for more opportunity to start a consulting firm eventually, but that's pretty much impossible, unless you have big bucks to start off with. And the risk verse reward isn't that great. And when shit does go wrong, it becomes a fucking nightmare for consultants. And it's a pretty ungrateful job.
