The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread (Trois)
Gawdammit... That used to get me every time. I'd be like, oh, this'll be easy... Not like when I used to need to go dig around for an old CD with Windows on it... The computer will just *find* it and we'll be off and running.
3 hours later... WTF? Well, I guess I'll just make due with not updating that thing until I buy another computer...

Inspect hardware visually > Go to manufacturer site and download updated drivers > Profit!
One of my first job in computers was pretty much that, re-installing Windows all day erryday.
Windows drivers are better now though than they were in 2001 when XP came out. That was painful. Nowadays they got the big manufacturers to shell them proper drivers instead of crappy "compatible" Windows drivers that would make your computer unable to run a 3D app or play sound.
Well not to get philosophical but where is the computer's heart? I'd think the processor would be the brain but the hard drives would also be the brain due to it being storage. The heart isn't really meant for storage so you couldn't be referring to the hard drive as being the computer's 'heart'.
every...damn...time..

Anyway, exaggerated claims, eat not too much meat, try to steer clear from conservatives when possible and die of cancer of something else anyway.

I remember yapping about cellphone plans being shit here. Turns out I got a decent deal, 34 loonies/mo for unlimited minutes/txt anywhere in canada and 1GB data. That's more sensible than what I usually see.
So I took the occasion to upgrade myself to a Moto X Play. Adios Galaxy S3, you were a fine device.
