What the fuck? We were supposed to get stickers?

Haha, man. Fuck y'all's contaminated virtue bruh. Donate because it's the right thing to do, not because you can put a sticker on your ass cheeks to advertize for AZ while you get railed in a bar bathroom.

Haha. True. Okay. Let me ask you this. This is a dilemma that I can't seem to figure out.

How the mother fuck does a person convince others to donate to charity without coming off like a total douche?

My motivation is this: I have some friends that are just average, normal people. They have decent jobs, own their homes, everything is normal for them (by many measures, they're doing exceptionally well). Constantly, they spend spend spend on just completely useless shit (expensive handbags, excessive sports memorabilia, expensive dinners, frequently buy new cars (shitty ones lol) ). Some of them claim to practice Christianity also. And they just keep jerking each other off with these lavish gifts. It makes me sick. They're the perfect candidates for donating to charities because they have SO much disposable income (apparently), yet they just use it to prop up ridiculous American consumerism.

You don't convince them.

Nothing irks me as bad as somebody trying to tell me how I should spend my time/money/life. You preach by example, if they follow then cool, if they don't then that's too bad.

Unfortunately, a lot of people don't give unless there is a personal reason. Sometimes it's to get a sticker, and sometimes it's because they were personally affected in some way by whatever charity they're giving to.

So short of giving their kids Leukemia or butt-flu or something, third-person preaching usually falls on deaf ears.

And trying to get your neighbors interested in donating to a Missing and Exploited Children charity *could* end messily for you. So probably don't do that.

Faith in humanity is only alive in the flames we carry in ourselves. Lead by example, if it shows and makes in impact in the lives around you, faith is not lost.

Most of the people I roll with love and try not to judge. This recent trip put me out of my element, but that discussion is for another time as I have some shit I need to prep for a meeting. Give and don't judge. Love is all we can do. Either they with it or they ain't.

Very well said, Maj.

I just try to drum up hate for a positive thing.

Yums has jumped out to an outstanding 83% lead in the ban pole currently.

Oddly, the votes to donation ratio seems slightly skewed in favor of "talking" over "doing".

Hmm... Why do I think Yummy's just getting the pole win regardless.

Seems like it's shaping up like a more subtle ban-Crabby pole:

Why in the world would anyone even want an AZ sticker? To put on your car? Why? Stickers don't belong on cars. I thought stickers stopped being cool after elementary, or, once you quit skateboarding/snowboarding and couldn't plaster anymore on your board.

Stickers, at least in my mind, take the focus off a all around nice car and put focus on, well, the sticker instead. Even worse, someone now knows what forum your car is most likely posted all over. Is that a build thread for that car I always see? Is that a SC build thread I see for that same car? I know what I'm breaking into and stealing later!

I'm surprised Srika isn't higher up on the ban list. I thought he'd have plenty of votes

Take off hozer, eh?

What exactly are you implying about quitting skateboarding? I only started skateboarding when I turned 32.

I'll do my best to remember this. I don't usually judge, but sometimes I judge hard as fuck. Never outward though, always internally. And then I ponder it and try to figure out how I should behave in those situations.

Thanks homie, you right.
