Heading out to the park over in the nice neighborhood in a bit. Gonna see if there are any lonely moms there in need of some attention.
If I'm not back in a couple days, send gatoraide and some powerbars. Kthx.

Don't get me wrong- the Camry is a great car and there is a huge market for them, but I have a feeling that Flip doesn't fit that demographic.
Flip, why don't you compare a TL to the Camry? The TSX is a smaller car and is less "luxurious" than the TL overall. Plus, that K24 can't compete with a V6, unless all you care about is fuel economy.

The only saving grace for the Toyotas in our family (parents and GF) is I have a cousin that works in the parts department and got hookups for cheap parts.

You know, I thought about it...in my previous life I did home energy surveys for insulation/duct repair rebates and I recall some people with the radiant barrier stapled to the under side of the roof...problem was, the foil would tear and break down and in time it would be a HUGE mess. If I were building a new house, I'd spray foam under the roof...that keeps the attic only 5 degrees warmer than the house. That would be insane! Ended up costing me $280 to do...foam panels on the garage door next up...
I spent 8+ hours up there...with a respirator and long pants and shirt...with the attic fan, it wasn't terrible although there were a few moments where I got loopy when I knew I was dehydrated.
Betty already told me she could tell the garage felt cooler...
Thank Maj...I'm hoping that's the case, man...maybe by then I can afford a wagon. Adding the versatility to the list of reasons to get one, would help me tremendously. Just found out that, like the TL, the rear seats don't fold on the sedan...

I get what you're saying, though. Like a 1G Honda NSX built in Japan, and then called shipped over and called an Acura NSX here...
Speaking of which, I saw 4 Hellcats in the span if 5 days this past week
A red Charger, a black Charger, another red Charger (no idea if it was the same as the first) and another black Charger (plate was different from the first one I saw). They sound mean but everyone of them was being driven very gently. Pussies.
I also saw a 3G TL which looked like it was riding on what looked like chrome 22s. They were for sure 20s. It looked fucking retarded

So.. wtf Caddy.. why u no fold down? Hmm.. the wagon folds down.. the coupe folds down.. you have a big as pass through in the rear that makes it look like it should fold down. The arguments for why they don't fold down are mystical.. some say blame Acura (seriously). Apparently the TL marketing said it didn't have fold down rears because it needed add'l structural integrity that the competitors didn't have.. so Caddy is like.. hmm.. save $10 on each ride we let out and maybe sell 3 more a year with that bullshit.
Others say it's to add room for the exotic fuel tank.. well.. there's only a few bolts strapping the rear seats in, plus the tank isn't some mega fuel cell. If the reggo CTS has fold down seats, maybe sure someone savvy like you can convert them. Maybe there is some merit to the argument, but keep in mind the Vagon and Coupe came out after. They probably just fixed some bullshit that backfired at them.
Btw.. you're probably not going to be folding them down anyways.
They do have a sweet passthrough like the TL for an IB setup.
