Around here, the Ruth Chris has 2.5 stars on Yelp, in Socal, there's one with 4 stars and 2k+ reviews.


Agreed with Maj though, go for the ambiance, that's what you're paying for. The food is alright.

Wifey and I don't like it. It was too 'murican for us (even though we pretty much love errrthang else 'murican).

All the sides we ordered seemed unnecessarily greasy/fatty/horrendously unhealthy.

Also, don't understand why 'muricans put a piece of butter on top of their steaks. At least Ruth Chris does. I'm eating a gawdamn steak. It's bad enough for me already. Don't make it even worse!!

There are plenty of other GREAT steak houses around for much cheaper.

Felt like I had an oversized brick in my gut after.

We had leftovers that we took home. Ended up just throwing them in the trash the next morning.
