I'm the same as you, blind leading the blind. The turbo threads are horrendous. There are two guys that I'm sure you can figure out that are complete posers yet question everything I say. One is especially funny because he tells me I'm wrong then a month later he's spitting out "advice" as his own that he just disagreed with. When I said piston ring gap butting is why Pistons were failing on stock turbod engines he told me I was wrong. Under s month later he's saying crap like he "always" runs a wider ring gap on a factory engine because that's what breaks Pistons. Wow, just wow.

When did it go from helping people to to the point your ego is so huge you are no longer sharing info to help each other out, you're there to show how smart you are and being wrong is not an option no matter how wrong you are.

I know I'm commenting twice on virtually the same thing but this is why it's a shithole. I'll post some helpful factual info and then cringe because I don't know how someone is going to respond to it. Don't even think about using facts in a discussion when it's one of the azine cliques. They never let facts get in the way of good emotion and misinformation. I'm watching one guy recieve terrible advice in a turbo thread that doesn't want my help because the posers have him convinced I know nothing and I still try to help for some reason. It gets old making a long post off the top of my head and then have someone come in and change a couple words and post it as their own. It gets old with people acting like you owe them something and can't even give a thanks. I've withheld the good turbo info because it's a bunch of posers and cowards. I could blow their mind with some non traditional tuning on 3 subsystems that would greatly lower the detonation threshold and bring boost in by 2,000rpm with unbelievable spool but I figure why would I give up info that took nearly two decades to figure out that I've never seen posted on the internet before to some ingrates that would eventually post it everywhere as their own. It's just constant resistance and I'm convinced the 3G forum has the smallest collective penis size of all of azine.

Oh, don't mind me, I just put down a norco from having a tooth removed so I'm not responsible for anything said over the next few hours lol.

Yeah, but what you described is basically dealing with any group of people. There's always some asshat running their mouth when they shouldn't be, regardless of if they actually know anything.

You sound like a smart guy with lots of real, factual, perspective. You need to realize you're dealing with a lot of e-jockeys that do a lot more talking than doing. Sometimes its much easier to just sit back and watch the bs roll and pick and choose who to play nice with. There's always a few like minded people that will appreciate the knowledge, but for the rest, f-em.
