I just got a N7 to put in it this summer. This summer was supposed to be THE modding summer.

So my phone doesn't work too well in the town that I work. As I got within a half mile from work, my postmaster left a message saying that it's a super light day, which is odd for a monday, and that they didn't need me.

Pedantic detailing question: does anyone treat the plastic wiper holders (the bit that holds the blades and connects to the swish-swish-swish arms) with something to keep it from crazing?
I've noticed that a lot of the plain black plastic parts that Honda uses tend to dull and get crazed or ashy-like over time.
I just changed my blade cartridges and hit the holders with 303 but wonder if there is something better?
What do you anal people do? (Looking at you especially DeerMeat)

I recently threw some 303 on my engine covers and the plastic hood thingermajigger underneath the windshield (cowl?
) and it worked for s bit but I'm interested as well.
Or we can ask flippy how he keeps his black looking so fine

Thanks Flip
Cul0, I have tried to keep that fresh...303, most recently I used Chemical Guys protectant...I'll give back to black spray a shot too...sucks that they won't last, almost worth having it painted, or repainting it with some sort of black spray.

I'm not opposed to replacing them, it's just the fact that they don't seem to go but a year before starting to discolor. That could get expensive.
I have wondered about hitting then with a wet sand and then getting some sort of UV stable clear coat shot on them.

It sounds like those plastic pieces are especially vulnerable to the sun in our states (CA, TX, FL) ![Snicker](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/emot-laugh.gif)
Some sort of UV protectant from the get-go may be the answer to prevent fading in the first place.

Yeah, the ones on my truck do the same thing. So it's probably a universally cheap plastic.
Probably should just replace it with some of those neon pink double bladed ones with the little aero wings. Viva la eighties!
