Getting my garage cleaned up... well... spent the last few days doing so. Just need to build a couple more shelves. I have this picture of a dream garage in my head and I'm trying to "build" that. Sadly, I won't ever get to that level, as I have other junk in my garage that isn't car related. But still gonna try.

I bought two of those tire racks that I think J posted about a little while ago. Not the expensive ones Thoi bought. I got these on sale for $45 each and I was rather impressed with the build quality.

Next up- LED lighting in the garage. My current lighting is abysmal. Costco has these nice, long, LED lights for $50 each right now. They look like the long fluorescent bulbs.

This fall, gonna install a garage heater. Yay!! Finally a heated garage!!

I went to the grocery store yesterday (CSB). I wore my winter parka, even though I knew it wasn't all that cold out. Well funny story- it was 13C (55F) outside and I think 2/3s of people I saw were either in T shirts, shorts, or both Ah, Canada... It's pretty much beach season here now

I will. It likely won't look very impressive. To me it's like "ooooh yeah!!", but when I was standing just outside, looking in yesterday, I was thinking people would be like "meh.. looks like an ordinary garage".

I just need to build those two shelves and I'll throw a couple pictures up. Should be by this weekend.

I'm just happy that I put soooooo much stuff away. There is quite literally a TON of stuff in my garage, but it really doesn't look like it. I made use of the room under the stairs, or at the ceiling level, or the walls...

You're all talking about shelving and shit. Hell mine's not even drywalled! The outer walls aren't at least. And my office is above the garage. So it gets hot/cold in that room. Fucking sucks.

I built our first garage. It was essentially just a wooden box frame with siding and shingles. No insulation or drywall on the inside.

For garages attached to the house, it is a code requirement here now to have to insulate, vapor barrier, drywall and mud and tape the walls. Essentially increases energy efficiency for the wall separating the house and garage.

I hear it's still made of batteries.

In other news, I still DGAF about Tesla.

I know you were all wondering.

Oh. Tesla.

Cool cars, but reliability is shit. And I'm not surprised. It's not all that easy to build a car from the ground up.

Reading an application.

If you work at a auto shop and you say on your application;

oil change trasmision or tairs rotation I don't want you working on my vehicles.

Apparently reliability. But I've not heard much about them breaking down so I dunno.

Electric car?

Electric is for golf carts and mobility scooters.

Petrol engine or GTFO!

Obviously.

I've never driven one (can't fit my massive dong in the tiny cabin) but my kid has a Powerwheel so I pretty much know about Teslas.
