If your hair is just clipped then there is no reason not to DIY at home and save $20 every three weeks...
I do a huge fade myself...1/4" to 1".

I have a friend who's been cutting his own hair for at least the last ten years. Because he's socially awkward. He refuses to go for a haircut because he's afraid of having to make chitchat with the person cutting his hair. I was like "Dafuq is wrong with you?"
If he didn't tell me, I would have never known. I have zero clue how someone can do such a good job cutting their hair when looking in a mirror.

Shiiiiet... I go for a haircut once every three months my hair grows pretty slow though. In fact, it seems to be falling out faster than it grows back, these days

I cut my own not because of money or social awkwardness, but because three-quarters of the time I am not happy with what they have done. Since I've been doing a lengthy undercut lately, I'd hate to go in there, and they remove way more hair than I asked, etc.

Lucky for me, the guy that cuts my hair is suuuuuuuper gay. Like, extremely gay. And he's fucking hilarious. He tells me how he loves to take it and how submissive he is. And he calls me a "breeder"

Racing? Nope.
Basketball? Nope.
Soccer? Nope.
Baseball? Nope.
Golf? Nope.
Extreme sports of any kind? Nope.
Football? CFL- I vaguely follow the edmonton team.
NFL- I kind of follow the Broncos and watch an occasional game
Hockey? I watch a lot of the Edmonton Oilers games, but mostly because there's fuck all to do here in the winter

I love working with wood. Seriously. I'm so stoked to get home and build my shelves today
I must admit, my skills aren't the greatest, but they are getting better and better with every project and every tool I buy. I've decided to set the bar higher with my deck build this summer. The angles will either come out looking fantastic, or will be the death of me. Time will tell
