I'm your PayPal. You pay me to be your pal

And if you don't pay me, I break your legs.

Kinda like paying the mafia for "protection".

Remember to put a VTEC badge on your car also. Adds extra HP.

Housing retrofits or parts bin swap?

EDIT: Or did you just put HID in non-HID housings?

Betty's 8th Gen Coupe had a pretty nice and sharp cutoff with just a kit swap.

Yeah, I couldn't understand it either...my 4 year older Acura Accord had HID from factory, but hers had a fkng bulb. I tried to do the silverstars but once you've gone 5000K HID (black) you really can't go back.

So if a car has a globe looking projector jobber, you can just replace the bulb with a HID/ballast and be good to go? (in general)

mindblown.gif

A lot happens when you only buy cars every 12-15 years. So much has changed! I went from crappy reflectors to awesome HID directly and must have skipped over all the "meh-okay" lighting tech. Wonder what else I don't know about?

Yeah once the headlights have projectors, slapping an HID kit in is all good. It's just bad news when the kit is put into a standard halogen housing.

Turn signals come standard on all cars now too!!!!

Except on BMW's... And it's an expensive add on so no owners ever get them..

It's not perfect but it is okay. Much better than in reflectors. But a dedicated HID projector is the way to go. But that's "doing it right".
