The front trim was a pain in the ass to install.

Thank you thank you.
I'm now letting my wife sleep in a little because she's was a Navy Nurse for five years. I'm going to let her do whatever she wants today.

wow, that did come out looking nice, gatr.
your wife's car the other car? you're a brave man...I'd swap spots to ensure I'm in control of the door dings.

New shift knob for Ryan:
And since y'all asked so nicely, I made a video of the M5 noises. This is just a quick 2nd gear pull to redline. I don't do street racing or YouTube videos much so this is my best effort :P
My buddy who bought the M5 told me "it has a bit of an oil leak so please check the level." Uhhh yeah. Front timing case is hemorrhaging oil all over everywhere. Thankfully the car will yell at me for the oil level getting low and I can just dump a quart back in. I think he may want to fix this before driving the ol' girl back to California...

I jack it up to look for the leak and its not leaking
doesnt that shit always happen?
bring the car to the dealership for a noise....
dealer hears no noise.
wtf mate!
im thinking its either the valve cover gasket, or worse the rear main seal!
Resident BMW Apologist
How many miles? I'd suspect VCG before rear main unless you're getting really up there on the odometer.

Gatr - car looks good.
The IS is leaking from the rear main seal too. IDGAF.

Hard to avoid when I'm draining my poor dog's anal glands. That's actually a true story. She gets so happy when I do...no more scooting everywhere.

fun fact, I loved it so much, I put the same exact one in the S2000.
The weighted and taller shifter offers a great feel. It's also wide enough across the top to still hold it palm down so you can shift it however. I try going back to stock or even the spun resin one I have to change it up, but always go back to this one immediately.

RS, looks like you have silver rings around your gauge bezel. Those would look sick, complimenting the TL interior. Hey, I just found a new project for you! Get it done, make sure it's flawless, and report back with photos and a price to do it for the rest of us...
Also, how do you get your shift boot to stay up with the aftermarket shifter?
Edit: wait, I must be on drugs- those ARE silver rings, aren't they? *drool*
