Klipsch towers are phenomenal for the price. Those 82's must pump.. what's your setup?

Simple at the moment. Denon 789 receiver, and a sony center, sony powered 10" sub, and pos rears. Never invested in speakers, until hearing these things! Unbelievable how much more music I hear compared to my old infinity pos towers.......lol! Center channel will prob be next upgrade.

He really does.
And trust me, if you were in person. Your panties would be in his left pant pocket before you even realized you were missing them. He's that good.
Maj...new house has prewired rear speakers in the ceiling...I'll have to go in the attic to confirm what they are but thought it was a cool feature!

They're $184 on amazon at the moment. Lowest I've seen:
Truly the best bang for your buck. Also warrantied for 5 years.
For centers.. lots of good ones. I'd get the best spec'd middle to high freq response for the money. Those 82's will cover the lows to the middles quite well.

Not yet, but
Closing is Tuesday morning...wish us luck!
Thanks, man. No, Plantation, not Sunrise. Closer and a nice neighborhood with no association with canal access. Supposedly the only neighborhood where you can take a powerboat/jet ski directly from your home in all of Broward County.

Heck I'm thinking of getting another F12 and going 7.2. Stereo subs.. that's where it's at. My only problem is the new 70" sony screen takes up too much real estate.. no room for side speakers..
Might place towers on sub..

Did you have primus towers? The sony sub is okay, especially for the money, but put it on CL and get a BIC F12.
They're $184 on amazon at the moment. Lowest I've seen:
Amazon.com: BIC America F12 12-Inch 475-Watt Front Firing Powered Subwoofer: Electronics
Truly the best bang for your buck. Also warrantied for 5 years.

Thnks! Idk what the infinity towers were! Yeah the sony sub is more than adequate at the moment. Center, will be searching for! Thnks for the heads up on the sub tho! Wedding is in 5mnths so all spending is on hold! The rf-82 II's were a Great Addition, and I'm no audiophile, so they will do for now! Let me know if you find any killer deals on center channels! Would be greatly appreciated!

Ahhh......
We're trying this out because of the new program that replaces hyperlinks with text in posts, making the links very hard to see when they are all the same font color.
It only affects links, so the rest of the text retains the black coloring.
I think it helps find links within a post or thread.
We're also working on a way to show links like this: [Link: acurazine.com] and the "acurazine.com" is underlined.
I thought there was a way to just make the links in posts blue but found out it's all or nothing.

I like the blue
Thanks Yummy and Slpr...
unfortunately for me, Betty hates the green
I can guarantee I'll be painting every single wall in that house, inside and out over the next few months. I will say that she has impeccable taste in paint colors so I trust her. I'm mainly excited about getting to paint my garage walls and epoxy the floor!

Sad to see the green in the kitchen go. I really liked that color. We had a similar color in our other house's kitchen with a bright midori green accent wall. Painted over it when we rented the house out. :-(
Jeremy, are you doing the painting yourself? I did my first house and vowed to NEVER do it again. I found a guy that painted my entire house for $800 and HE provided the paint. That is worth it to just not have to deal with the aggravation of it.

Hmmm...well, going to do a solid color on the walls and then the beige epoxy floor to mimic a beach like theme.
I will say, I'd LOVE to have someone else paint for me, but I have the misfortune of being very good at it, I don't even tape and my lines come out very straight...in addition, after closing we'll be on a pretty tight budget to complete a few other projects. I would love to have someone else come in and handle it, but I also kind of think it adds to the magic of buying the house and those first few days/projects you tackle with your wife and friends stopping by. My main goal is to do the master and the garage...after that we can kinda move everything into the main part of the house and just paint before we put anything on the walls.
Going to pick up a contactor for the AC compressor...it's stuck ON right now so we have to kill hvac at the breaker...I also had an extra programmable thermostat laying around I'll slap in there, my mother was going to toss it anyway.

On the other hand when we bought our house it looked like a mexican restaurant! It was pretty bad. I had an orange kitchen and an even brighter orange dining room with 2 different browns in the living room that were just horrible lol the master was light purple with a dark red bathroom my hall bathroom was pink and all the spare rooms had small colorful ceiling fans lol
