More noobness:
Which of the three are really the brightest reverse led lights (I have tints)?
I found:
VLEDS
http://www.vleds.com/bulb-type/rever...79-1-pair.html
~370 Lumens
Samsung LED
http://www.ebay.com/itm/High-Power-S...-/331025694195
~120 Lumens (not sure if per LED or total output, not clear on description)?
Samsung LED w/ CREE projector lens
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-pcs-10W-Sa...-/281127215040
550-600 Lumens?!
Any first hand experience with any?
If so, which one's the brightest?!

Have any of you had to replace your axle yet? I've been hearing a popping sound lately but it's not every time I turn the wheel. It seems to be only in certain situations and it doesn't sound like the typical "clicking" that indicates CV joint issues.
It's been too cold for me to look at it so hopefully I can get to it this weekend.

When I first lowered my car, I was chasing a weird wobble at around 25 mph...ended up changing both axles with oem. Cost around $150 each side in parts and about $40 per side in labor. PM Bruce about OEM axles.

It'll have to be a sharp turn at a decent speed for it to pop and even then it's not every time. It seems to quiet down some as the car warms up but I'd rather check it out before blaming it on the cold weather. The noise is definitely coming from the driver's side.
From what I've been seeing, axles/cv joints are a common thing for the 3G and I'm at 114k miles now so who knows
$40 per side in labor is pretty good. If it's determined that it's my axles, I'll definitely link Bruce.

Well, that was the cost at a little run down private shop I'd been going to for axle and cv rebuilts for 10 years...I'm at Acura they'd run it as 3 hours of labor at $115 per hour

Driveshaft replacement is common but not an issue. More common with those that are lowered.

On a related note, Set It Off is the joint. Love that movie.. haven't seen it in a while.

How's the aftermarket support on those?
The cv joint grease is only rated at 10F. What you're probably experiencing is hardening of the grease. If you don't notice it after the car has been driving for a while (grease warmed up) or when the temps are above 40F, you should be fine. I would check the inner and outer boots for tears though. Otherwise, If you here clicks at full lock turns going 5 mph in moderate temps, definitely cv joint.

Yum, without ruining his unveiling of it, keep CLassy02 (Tyler) on your radar...he recently got a black FX35 and has some excellent looking 20" rotiforms and probably some springs going on soon. It's going to be epic.
