Went through Portland last year.. they are nut riding Austin so hard.
Seriously, 15 years ago, Portland was just an armpit between Van City and the Bay Area. They aspired to be like Seattle, now they're imitating Austin.

I give food to a local place which packs "bagpacks" for kids who dont get food over the weekend....
I had my company sponsor it, got 2 crates full of stuff from Sams Club, had to rent a truck to load all that food and dropped it off....they are called Mission Southside....
I would love to meet the kids but I just help in buying/delivering/packing stuff for them....
