Your still images came out really well, the colors really pop. I love shooting cars on slightly cloudy days. Some of the drifting shots are in focus, but I think the other cars were just moving too quickly for the settings you had set.

Overall most of the shots are great!

Yeah I was keeping the shutter speed lower because I wanted to get the motion effect instead of freezing the cars completely.

I guess next time I'll have to try a higher speed.

my base bumper does not fit quads.

Fortunately, the Texas acurazine crew is having a meet this weekend.
I plan to travel 3 and a half hours without the bumper to meet up with other Texas Acurazine members.

there will be a bumper waiting for me when i get there.
(drive there bumperless, come home with type-s bumper!)

as for the cool mod above the left tail; sauceya installed that last year.

I plan to get the rear type-s aspec.

I could have done that, Zach.. but a friend is selling the type-s bumper for cheap.
this way, I now have an extra bumper. (in case accidents, mods, if friends need to use, etc.)

Does someone have the thread bookmarked that has all the "tips & tricks" for new owners? I remember it had things listed like holding the unlock button to roll down the windows and such.

A co-worker picked up an 05 TL and I was trying to help her out but can't find the thread

You either need spectacles or you don't understand how to properly frame a slow shutter shot. The subject should be in focus, which it's not in that shot.

Nah.. the slow shutter is fine, it's perfect for these type of shots, it conveys the action and emotion of the moment. To get better shots you'll at least want to use a monopod, but tripod would be preferred. Follow the subject speed as best you can and use burst to ensure at least one good shot. Fuck memory bitches.

What's you're shutter speed? Looks like 1/20 s. Try 1/40. Also, turn AF off and dial in the focus where you expect the subject to be when you start snapping.

Maj, all my exif data should be there.

I stayed around 1/125 - 1/160 shutter speeds. I couldn't use a tripod on the bleachers.

Conditions sucked fucking ass. Crowded seating EVERYWHERE, 8ft fence.
