you wore a helmet as a kid?
i have one that she's outgrown...the other one she uses is too big and falls off and chokes her.
I guess I need to get one.
a glider bike like a fucking razor with a seat that doesn't teach them the mechanics of pedaling and momentum?
miss me with that shit!
she does play with one of those at the daycare but I don't think it's a substitute for bikes.

I meant balance bike
It's the shit, it teaches kids to balance properly on the bike
Get the mechanics of steering down first
Then throw in pedals.
It's more forward than backward
Starting with pedals is a bit anti if you think about it

I’m not crying you are.
so the other day I mentioned I told my 6 year old he’s going to learn how to ride a 2 wheel.
Took him out today took 5 minutes he’s off and going.
4 year old tells me “dad, I want my training wheels off (even though he always rode a balance bike, we bought him a bike with training wheels) so I m like fuck it, off they go
he brings his bike to the street I help him get going, he says “I got it, let go” of course I’m like fuck, is he serious? Yup, sure is.
so both my older boys are riding bikes without training wheels.

I got mandatorily called off starting today.
We are doing on day/off day, but still getting paid thank goodness.
All elective cases have been canceled for weeks, only emergent cases. So a lot of sitting around watching the clock.
We are waiting for this to get worse. May have to use outdated ventilators for the ICU soon as the positive count gets worse.
Reusing same masks all day.
OR cleaning supplies and masks are under lock and key.
We have been recycling masks for weeks. Saving the wraps of sterilized instrumentation for making masks if things get worse.
We ordered many boxes of laminator sheets to use as face shields eventually.
Sister/bro-in-law tested positive for Covid.

Anyhoo...on a brighter note, today is Little Cha's birthday. And of course, our original plans for his big day has changed as we're stuck at home. Anyways, he's developed quite a liking for Spider-Man this year and so, I was able to order in a suit from Amazon recently and the First Lady and I decided to surprise the little guy by pretending to have the superhero show up on his birthday. So, while she was keeping Little Cha occupied upstairs, I ran downstairs, put on the suit and waited outside and then knocked on the door. If his eyes could go any wider when he opened the door, I think his eyeballs would pop out, hahaha...
