Yeah, it's going to affect our lifestyle obviously but then again, we're not really traveling now and/or going anywhere. We're going to eat out alot less too. Of course, by being home more esp. in the Norf Pole, the consumption of everything from electricity to water and gas goes up...So, we'll see. Again, it's manageable as I take home enough to cover. Just will be alot tighter. Less crab and lobster to eat weekly or whatever...LOL.
My family back in WA and CA know that any possible plans of heading to the US are capped for awhile until this virus gets managed. Little Cha's past heart problems presents him as a higher vulnerability and so, we'll basically apply kid gloves for the little bugger. That and my Mom because of her age are probably my "stresses" to be honest...the $$$ issue is okay...it's what savings are for.

So far. I'm moving my workouts up in the day to feel better.
Last week may have been my most productive week ever but I'm still going to talk to an expert next week.
Sorry to hear about your wife's job. Hopefully she'll be able to get it back when things start back up again.

Cook something fun and tasty. And yeah, good to hear you're working out. I'm so far just sticking to the One Punch Man (yes, funny) workout of 100 pushups, 100 situps, and 100 squats...I bypass the 10k run but I do get in some "cardio" by walking outside once I'm done work with Little Cha. So, don't forget to head out...at least you have nice weather. We're still under freezing point, bleh.

We are on lock down. Can only leave for essential things. I’m heading out Monday to get some workout equipment for my sanity

Same definition for the inner city here... No clear message on what is "essential" or how something is or isn't essential... (Mayor even encourages picking up food orders and visiting the park, walks, ECT...) So it's basically unenforceable...
I guess it keeps people from loitering at gas stations... That's an issue in the inner city here...
Where I am isn't under any "official" order of anything other than no dining in a restaurant, seeing a movie... Stuff like that...

I was working on my Type S yesterday and needed a mini impact to get lower trans mount off. Harbor Freight was jam packed and I felt super unsafe. Lowes & Home Depot are in a different city who had mandated them to only allow 125 ppl in the store at a time. There was a wait for the Lowes so I got into HD and chose a noice Milwaukee 18v. If I do got the virus, I'm blaming Harbor Fuck.

Sup, folks. Went to Walmart quickly for some supplies and also bought Little Cha the LEGO Speed Champs Audi rally car. Should be fun building it with him later. Poor guy misses his buddies.

I guess it's just me and the Honda. Sitting at the lake... The park... Posting stupid shit on here... That's all I do is drive around town, park, and watch YouTube videos through BT... My apartment sucks... Metal folding chairs are hard AF!
The home away from home... Social distancing at it's finest! I don't even have to interact with anyone yet I'm still outside while safe in my own bubble!

Extroverts will have a tough time adjusting...but, I think if you can up your external stimuli, it will help. Get some nice upbeat tunes going on the home speakers running...I have some Miles Davis et al type jazz going almost all day down in the main floor where I'm camped to work. The news can get you down and so, I'd suggest leaving the TV off (I watch it because the news does not affect me that way except when ImpeachedDon speaks) and/or having it on a channel you know you'll enjoy.

Went for a bike ride this morning for the first time in a while, it felt great. I think it’s gonna be a little while until normalcy comes back so take advantage of the little threads of it whenever and wherever you can to save your sanity.

Here's some advice to you first timers
Don't be a bitchass Taco
Find a hobby
Best hobby would be something productive
Maybe lucrative, or at least beneficial to your breadth as a human
But if it's hand washing the dishes and clothes
Well, do it, it eats time and keeps you going
And stay off the phone / laptop
Sleep early, make a shiv if you don't have one

I’ve found myself in the back yard. Looking at getting another grill maybe a Traeger. Expensive fucks, but, I’m still doing research. My 5 burner gas grill has been great but I’m enjoying being in the backyard and throw meats on the grill.

I'm extremely worried because down here in Southeast Louisiana we went from around 90 cases to around 850 in seven days.
Mardi Gras had thousands of people here about three weeks ago. I am good, but I'm scared that either we end up like Italy, or end up like Italy...
Or the worst... Being Italy...
Sorry Italy... No offense...
Either way... Stay out of that COVID-19 thread... It will make you feel suicidal...

I won't bother posting it in R&P or the Corona Thread because everyone in there is too stuck to their opinion.

Interesting articles. I think we were "due" for a pandemic of sorts since people are generally nasty af lol. I saw some of that Bill Gates TED talk way back when about our overall lack of preparedness and he was spot on. Also the social credit system sounds a bit scary.

The initial date was April and then it moved to May, they're saying they wouldn't be surprised if they just cancel the school year altogether at this point. The local university has already done so and told all those in the campus housing to pack it up and go home.

we went for a walk yesterday and I told my wife “it feel strange with people walking across the street so they are 6 feet away.”
her response killed me “you should be used to people crossing the street when they see you, being black and all”

You work at work for a reason...now, your work is at HOME where you relax, rest, and entertain...it's something our minds are not used to. Anyways, time to go -ing...well, the One-Punch Man workout. And I'll do a couple of exercises with the resistance band.
