He added a list of things wrong with it...had a PPI done on it yesterday and it doesn't look too daunting to deal with.

He said he had people coming by yesterday...then nothing.
Then supposedly today he has people coming by and already bid it up a grand except it's 7am there...
he probably just did low asking and created a back and forth to see how high people would go.
From what they are selling for and what's wrong with it, that is a killer deal on something I'd love...

Yeah, that's the phone I keep under the planter in the back yard for discreet communications. I just buy stacks of cheap phones off Craigslist, use it for a week, and then give it to a homeless at the underpass bum encampment.

I highly recommend Chuck E. Cheese tokens.
With the recent bankruptcy and liquidations, they should literally go for (butt) pennies on the (token) dollar. Easiest way to step up in mass and volume without spending a lot of money or needing to eat so much celery.
