I usually have gravy days, even when they are challenging. But this surgeon, who wrenches on his own Audi’s and Porsche’s had a Very bad day and was taking it out on everyone, particularly the one closest to him by proximity. He’s a very chill guy, all the neurosurgeons are, so I understood it was nothing personal.

Tomorrow will be better.

To say the least, I've been there and done that. What was the name of the medical procedure, you all were in the midst of, when he melted down?
Just curious, so I can gauge / get an idea of the environmental stress level present, if you don't mind me asking?

It was a multilevel Anterior Cervical Disc Fusion(ACDF). Though it was not the case that was stressful, we all handle the stress together. It’s the stress from outside. It’s important to not bring the outside energy into the workplace.

The team is so connected and working as one that having a new person, student, or someone unfamiliar could cause a disturbance in the energy(someone getting nervous, ect.). This could lead to less than desirable outcomes.
