I heard there was a plane crash in New Orleans near Lakefront Airport around 3:00 pm today. I didn't think much of it as this happens occasionally at that airport due to it being a small recreational airport used for small private planes that aren't regulated much.
Well, it turns out our local news station WVUE Fox8 in New Orleans was covering a story about the pilot and our main news anchor was aboard.

Sending prayes to your friends and family and all of Southeast Louisiana.
This station doesn't cover where I am in Mississippi, sadly, but dang, I never expected this.
She has three teenaged children, this is just plain disturbing.
