Yeah wtf... how am I supposed to keep Post Whore status by this.. I think I need to re-negotiate my contract so that it allows for a MINIMUM of 6 hours a day for AZ...

Was there some guy or a company or something that takes the OEM center console arm rest and does a custom foam job so it's not like resting on a cobblestone sidewalk?
I swear I read about that here; like a dual density foam so it's comfy AF.

Are you looking to do it yourself, or have a shop do it? If a shop, start calling around. If yourself, you'll probably fuck something up, end up buying a new oem piece and taking it to a shop anyway.

For some reason, I thought there was a place that either sold a whole new leather cover ready to go with the higher density (/martymcfly) foam installed already, or did a send and return service.
But that writeup sounds familiar. Guess I should pop the cover and see what it looks like.

When it arrives to Harifax, it will sit there until Canada/Audi get their heads out of their @$$es and releases the darn car. Apparently, 2019 models are kinda all vapor right now thanks to the shenanigans of the Germans. An indication when I'll get my fake-car is when the Audi website actually has 2019 models for the A5/S5 available for config and pricing.
It's fine. We know I'm going to pick up the car in a snowstorm. Upon which, I'll just see if I can rent some huskies to pull the car out.

If I could get a leather cover, so much the better. But the pleather is fine too I guess.
Maybe a local uphoustery shop is the best plan. Let them tear it apart and rebuild in leather.

It's fine. Just feels like the foam is breaking down or compressed or something because I can feel the moulding of the plastic underneath where my elbow sits. I'd like to not feel like bone on plastic rib all the time.
