There's another newer Toyota minivan across the street from me. Black exterior. Regularly being washed and polished by the pillipino family that owns it. Though they need lessons on how to detail properly. Makes me want to cry when I see some of the shit they do. Wash dirty wheels, then move on to the black paint

It was more of a roller coaster talking to my brother. He's a compulsive liar. My number one trust breaker. The ex and I were always in the dog house with his family. We went out of our way to keep the family together yet we always got in shit for the dumbest things.
Such as... We had my brother's family over for dinner, along with my parents, once. We got in shit for giving his kids plastic utensils (kid utensils that we got from them in the first place). Granted they were like 6 and 8 at the time... But the only reason we gave them that cutlery was because we didn't have any more of the normal stuff. It was just the two of us- we had no need for a shit ton of extra cutlery. Buuut... Into the dog house we went.
His wife is an uber grudge holding cunt also. She still brings up shit I did when I was 16. She won't let shit go against my parents (long story) from almost two decades ago. It's like... Fuck you... I don't need that shit in my life.

Backed out of my wedding 7 years ago, stopped talking to her until about 5-6 years ago. Hardly talk to her now. Tries to give me shit that I don't come around the family, no bitch I don't come around you because your baby daddy is a felon and he's beat you multiple times and I'm supposed to be ok with him. 4 kids 3 different daddies. Oldest kid being 14, middle is like 9 3rd child is 7 and she just had a baby by the women beater, so her 2 youngest are by him. She had 3 boys, then here I came and had a girl as my 3rd child and she had to go have another kid because she wanted the attention. Part of me thinks she was pregnant 2 times before this and she had an abortion because it wasn't a girl. She a dumb one.

You can't choose your family. But you can choose not to associate with them. I have no ill will towards my brother. I wish him and his family all the best.
I used to look up to him a lot, growing up. But now it's like... Nah... I don't need this. I prefer living my life with zero drama these days. And I couldn't be happier.
Laugh all y'all want, but Ive developed the mentality that if somone is toxic to my well being (aka only drains me of energy, only looking for wants but never give, only negative, etc), then they serve no purpose in my life. I don't need benefits from everyone. But I certainly dont need negative BS either
